Williamsburg Academy for Math, Science, Technology and Ethics, known as Williamsburg Prep, provides high school students with a challenging and exciting curriculum that has a special focus on math and the social and
experimental sciences. Located in one of the City’s most exciting arts communities,Williamsburg Prep provides students with the benefit of attending classes in a small supportive environment while exposing them to the larger Brooklyn community through mentoring and internship opportunities. Williamsburg Prep students can enroll in free, credit-bearing courses at the Brooklyn Campus and enjoy access to the Campus’s many stateof-the-art facilities. This innovative program was founded in 2004 in partnership with the School of Education as part of the New Century
High School initiative through New Visions for Public Schools. Adding a new class of 108 students each year since it opened, Williamsburg Prep will have a full roster – freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors – by the beginning of the 2007-2008 school year.
