El Teatro de la Diaspora Africana in association with Kumble Theater present: El Jubilado (The Retiree) –A Dramatic Comedy for Adults (in Spanish) Written, produced and directed by Dr. Carlos E. Russell October 31 through November 7, 2009 performance dates have been cancelled – new dates TBA. Roy and Frankie are Panamanian retirees residing in Brooklyn. On one of his frequent visits to Panama, Roy meets and establishes a romantic relationship with a younger woman with economic difficulties whom he helps. Roy invites his friend Frankie, a recent widower, to share his joy and join him in Panama where he hopes to introduce Frankie to one of her young friends. La trama, en la que nada ocurre como estaba previsto, se transforma en una delirante tragicomedia.
