Favorite first-year memory: The first class I ever had at LIU was Honors Philosophy. I came into college very exctited on the first day and made a special commitment to come earlier, however, when I walked in the professor was already passing out the syllabus. So I quickly apologized, took a coy of the syllabus and sat down. But then after glancing at the syllabus, I quickly got back up from my seat, apologized again and left the classroom. Why? Because I was not in a Philosophy class but a Psychology class! Later on, I realized my program listed the wrong room and there was a Philosophy class going on when I made my “grand entrance” into the History class.

Favorite Class taken at LIU: I have enjoyed all the classes in my major. The one class that I really looked forward to and I wish I could take again is English 64. The professor and the text were exceptional.
