Director of Alumni Relations,
Brooklyn Campus and Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences
The Director of Alumni Relations is responsible for implementing the University’s Alumni Relations Strategic Plan. This includes organizing and staffing alumni activities and events, and planning and executing all communications. Primary responsibilities include: managing the activities of the Alumni Associations and Boards, organizing reunions and homecomings and overseeing the alumni websites, newsletters and other campus and University communications.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5 years alumni relations experience.
- Special events experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and manage details.
Responsibilities:
Implement all initiatives outlined in the Alumni Relations Strategic Plan including:
- Coordinating the activities of the Alumni Boards and Alumni Associations.
- Planning and organizing class reunions, homecomings and other events.
- Developing new activities to encourage greater alumni participation in campus life.
- Overseeing alumni websites, newsletters and other campus and University publications.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Relationships:
- Reports to the Executive Director of Development and Alumni Relations, Brooklyn Campus.
- Works closely with the Brooklyn Campus Provost and the College of Pharmacy Dean, as well as the Brooklyn and Pharmacy development directors.
- Serves as alumni relations point person for Campus deans and administrators.
