Welcome Master's Students

The Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus offers our Master’s students an excellent opportunity to learn under award winning faculty in a progressive and dynamic environment. Faculty members are chosen for their teaching ability and willingness to give you personal attention. We encourage you to seek them out as both personal and professional mentors. The Brooklyn campus offers our students over 70 Master’s level degree granting programs that stretch across the landscape of six different schools including the: Richard L. Conolly College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Brooklyn Campus’s School of Business, Public Administration and Information Sciences,  the Brooklyn Campus’s School of Education, School of Health Professions, , the Brooklyn Campus’s School of Nursing and the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

             Here, at the Brooklyn Campus, you come first you are our number one priority. We are committed to involving you in the intellectual process. At Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus Master’s programs seek to provide qualified college graduates with the opportunity to work with faculty members in formal courses, seminars and research projects that encourage sound independent thought and the maximum development of each student’s intellectual capacities. Each course is designed to help our students acquire and refine professional skills, as well as increase their appreciation and understanding of cultural values. Approximately 2,000 graduate students attend programs at the Brooklyn Campus.

Master level courses meet primarily in the afternoon and evening, with some courses offered on weekends. The program also offers a year-round schedule, including two six-week summer sessions.
