The Central Service Technology Certificate Program is designed to
train technicians to receive and process supplies and equipment
from operating rooms and nursing units throughout the hospital.
The training involves decontamination, sterilization, and the preparation
and assembling of instruments for distribution. The proper treatment
for patients is essential; therefore, this process takes place in
a clean environment in the designated central supply department
of hospitals.
