Big
Twelve 39 vs. Good To Go 35
The struggling Big Twelve got their first win in the NBNL season
against Good To Go. titlehough Big Twelve was clearly an underdog
in this game but total team work helped then to bring the result
to their favor. Big Twelve lost their previous couple of games
by big margins; this influenced Good To Go to take them easily.
Tonight, without having anyone to come off the bench, Big Twelve
played with full confidence and beat Good To Go (39-35). Everyone
scored for the winning side except Dexter but he handled the ball
well as point guard and ended up with 6 assists. After leading
at halftime (17-14) Good To Go lost their momentum once their
opponent scored three 3's to open the second half. Carlo scored
16 points, while Ryan and Lookman contributed 9 points each for
the winning side.
Get
Busy 30 vs. Untitle 23
Second game of the night featured Untitle vs. Get Busy. Get Busy
desperately needed a win and this came against Untitle. Untitle
started out nice and took 14-8 lead at the half time. However,
Get Busy started to regain their composure during the second half.
Get Busy's strong defense kept Untitle from scoring. Untitle only
managed to score 9 points in the second half. Dawan scored game
high 18 points for winning team. Get Busy are currently (2-2-1)
and Untitle are (2-3).
Do
Da Damn Thing 30 vs. Ball Til Ya Fall 29
Two undefeated team of NBNL, Do Da Damn Thing (4-0) and Ball
Til Ya Fall (4-0) faced each other in the third game. BTYF came
to play with out their key player, Eddy. He was suffering from
shoulder injury. Both team started out attacking to keep their
unbeaten record. Pat ended the half with 9 points of the BTYF's
18 points. During the second half, both teams traded baskets.
The game was tied at 27 points with 2 minutes to go. The game
came down to a wire when DDDT was leading by 1 point with 1 second
to go. Pat took the shot at the buzzer but failed to score. Greg
scored 14 points for DDDT. BTYF fall to (4-1) while DDDT improve
their record to (5-0).
Lights
Out vs. Hornets
Lights Out won this game by forfeit. The Hornets failed to show
up resulting in an automatic lost. Lights Out is now (3-2) and
the Hornets fall to (0-4-1).
