Week 5
 X Birds 28 vs. 80 Grans 24
The first game of the evening featured two undefeated team X Birds
(3-0) vs. 80 Grans (3-0). 80 Grans played well in the first half.
X Birds pressure did not seem to bother 80 Grans as they broke
their pressure for easy baskets. 80 Grans Shamark scored 2 three
pointers which gave them the lead at the end of the first half
(16-12). 80 Grans lost Kevin due to injury at the beginning of
the second half, which gave X Birds the opportunity to get back
in the game. Greg scored a beautiful 3 pointer and helped X birds
to take the lead (25-24). Kevin came back from injury after ten
minutes but it was already too late for 80 Grans to come back
on the game. Scott scored game high 10 points for X Birds, while
80 Grans suffered their first defeat (3-1) in the season.
 Dat Deal vs. Untitle
Dat Deal won this game by forfeit and improves their record to
a (4-0).
 Take Over 35 vs. DDDT…Again 31
Take Over faced last seasons champion DDDT…Again in the next
game. Struggling DDDT…Again badly needed a win after losing
first three games. Another lost would throw them out of the play
off. They started out nice against Take Over and took lead at the
end of the first (15-12). Beans played nicely and contributed 8
points for Take Over at the half. In the second half, Take Over’s
press started to give DDDT…Again some problems resulting
in turnovers leading to easy baskets. Greg and Mike was the recipient
of some easy baskets however, they missed most of those easy lay-ups
allowing Take Over to take the lead. Beans grabbed many offensive
and defensive rebounds, which also helped Take over to control
the game. Thomas scored 10 of the teams final 13 points giving
Take Over a 35-31 win over DDDT…Again and improve their record
to a (2-2).
 Lights Out vs. CSM Ballaz
Lights Out won by forfeit, winning their second game of the season.
