2004: Made 11 appearances with nine starts... Finished fourth in the NEC with a 3.00 ERA and was tied for seventh with three complete games... Fired two innings to team with Ryan Ekberg for Long Island’s first no-hitter in 12 years (4/29 against Fairleigh Dickinson)... Posted eight strikeouts and yielded just one earned run over eight innings for the win against Wagner (4/18)... Notched his second straight victory by pitching seven scoreless frames with four strikeouts against Sacred Heart (4/24)... Did not allow an earned run over eight innings at Mount St. Mary’s (5/9)... Finished the season with a 0.36 ERA over his last four starts,
allowing just one run over 25 innings.

2003: Showed progress toward the end of the season, finishing with a 2-0 record... Made five starts, with the Blackbirds going 3-2 in those games... Allowed just nine earned runs over 21 2/3 innings against the NEC... Notched his first victory at Lafayette (4/2), yielding four earned runs over five innings... Recorded a season-best four strikeouts against Seton Hall (3/19) and Maryland-Baltimore County (4/19)... Provided Long Island with a major boost with eight strong innings in a crucial win at Maryland-Baltimore County (4/29), allowing two earned runs with two strikeouts... Fired 2 2/3 scoreless relief innings against Quinnipiac (5/11) to close the season.

Background: Compiled a 4-2 record with a 1.73 ERA as a senior at Half Hollow Hills West High School and was named all-league... Pitched in the county final as a senior, suffering a heartbreaking 1-0 setback... Competed on the varsity squad for two seasons... Played in the summer of 2002 for the Long Island Mudcats... Made the honor roll as a senior.
