Kelly Finishes Tied for Fourth at Leo Keenan Invitational

10/3/05 -- Junior Patrick Kelly (Brisbane, Austrailia) fired a final-round 76 to finish in a tie for fourth at the Leo Keenan Invitational at Barton Country Club in Olean, N.Y.

Kelly finished tied with five other golfers at 145 (+5). His top-five finish was the best by a Blackbird golfer this fall.

Freshman Greg Nicolson (Edinburgh, Scotland) shot the low round of the day for LIU with a 75. The freshman was the only other Blackbird to crack the top 50 with a two-day total of 153 (+13). The team placed 14th in the two-day event.

The men’s golf team concludes its fall schedule October 15-16 in Binghamton, N.Y. with the NBT Bank Classic.
