Women's Golf Takes Part in Roar-ee Invitational

4/7/07 – The Long Island University women's golf team competed at Columbia's Roar-ee Invitational and finished ninth, 16 strokes ahead of Northeast Conference opponents Sacred Heart.

Junior Heather Pothier (Truro, Nova Scotia) was the top finisher for the Blackbirds in a tie for 31st. St. John's golfer Brittany Lambertson shot 73-76 and won medalist honors by five strokes. Harvard won the team competition by eight over Yale.

The Blackbirds return to the links on Friday, April 13 for a quad match at Rutgers.
