Lacrosse Game at Binghamton Canceled Due to Rain

4/27/05 -- Long Island University's women’s lacrosse season finale against Binghamton was canceled after the teams played only one half and waited nearly two hours during two weather delays.

After a delay of almost an hour, LIU and Binghamton took the field. At the half, the Bearcats were winning, 7-4.

Less than a minute into the second stanza, lightning struck and the teams left the field. After an hour of waiting, the game was officially called.
