Regan Teti named Women's Lacrosse coach

9/8/2004 -- Regan Teti has been selected head coach of the Long Island women’s lacrosse team.

Teti served as the first assistant for Boston College in 2003. She helped guide the Eagles to a 9-6 record that year, the program’s first winning season in recent history, and a fifth-place mark in the Big East Conference.

In 2002, Teti served as head coach of the varsity squad at Bedford High School in Bedford, Mass. She also was an instructor at MetroLacrosse, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing lacrosse to under-served Boston communities.

Since June 2003, Teti has been the owner of Wondermonkey Productions, which offers creation and management of freelance video/production and concert photography. She also did freelance work for LaunchPad Media, a corporate video multimedia production house.

The Devon, Pa. native was a four-year letterwinner at Rutgers from 1996-99. She led the Scarlet Knights to postseason all four years, including the school’s first NCAA Tournament appearance in 1999. Rutgers was ranked 11th in the nation that season and she captained a defense which posted the lowest goals-against average in the NCAA.

Teti holds the Scarlet Knights’ single-game record with seven caused turnovers and is third in the school’s single-season annals with 40 caused turnovers in 1999.
