Women's Basketball Completes Undefeated European Tour With 100-80 Victory

6/2/06 -- Senior-to-be Masa Susic (Zenica, Bosnia & Herzegovina) had 26 points, including eight three-pointers, as Long Island University capped its five-game European Tour with a 100-80 win over Ragusa Dubrovnik on Monday.

Junior Mikaelar Whippy (Suva, Fiji) added 20 points as six Blackbirds reached double-figures in scoring. The 5-8 guard hit 9 out of her 13 shots from the field and added eight assists.

Senior Marquita Thompson (Garland, Texas) also had an all-around game, tallying 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Senior Brittani Kozik finished with 11 pts and 8 rebounds while fellow classman Sonya Coleman had 11 pts, 4 steals, and 5 assists.
