TAP Waivers
Students unable to meet these minimum requirements for
a given semester may receive a "waiver" which gives them
time to regain normal eligibility. The Bursar's Office
will notify students of their TAP ineligibility. Waivers
are allowed only once for all undergraduate payments and
once for all graduate payments. To discuss your eligibility
for a waiver, please see one of the counselors in the Bursar's
Office. Once your eligibility is determined, you will need
to complete a waiver application, receive academic counseling
and provide needed documentation.
Bill Clearance Using Estimated TAP
If you have not received a TAP award by the start of the
Fall semester, the Bursar's Office can use an estimate
generated by the Office of Student Financial Services to
assist you in bill clearance. Actual TAP awards must be
presented to the Bursar's Office by the end of the Fall
semester. Students cannot use estimated TAP to clear their
Spring bills (except for those new students where Spring
is their first semester). |
