In recognition of the occasion, we respectfully request that very young children do not attend these exercises.
General Attire: It is usual for men to wear dark clothes to keep in the mode of the academic attire. Women should not carry purses. Men remove caps during the Invocation, The National Anthem, and the Benediction. The tassel of the cap, for those receiving bachelor's degrees, is worn over the right corner of the cap. At conferring of degrees, it is moved to the left corner of the cap.

This will be followed by the individual presentation of symbolic degrees to each student at a reception given by the dean of each respective School or College.
