The Science Division received
a $1.5 million grant from the National Science Foundation for
the renovation of Biology and Chemistry research laboratories.
With funds contributed by the University, the total cost of the
renovation project exceeded over $3 million. The project
has completed recently and the Chemistry Department now have 10
newly renovated laboratories with approximately 3300 square feet
(310 square meters) of research space.
