Wednesday, March 12, Stephen Bronner, Professor
of Political Science and Comparative Literature at Rutgers University,
will be talking about "Baghdad Memories." He was in Baghdad
in January as part of a fact-finding trip headed by Bianca Jagger
and will share his observations with the LIU community. The talk
will be at 1 PM in LLC 116.
Wednesday, April 9, Mark Naison, Professor
of African-American Studies at Fordham University, will be talking
about his memoir, "White Boy." He will relate it to contemporary
American society and foreign policy. The talk is co-sponsored by
the English Department and will be at 2 PM in LLC 116.
