A SPECIAL NOTE: Data presented in this document are from
different years depending on the availability of information for
the most recent year(s), or comparable years, from a variety of
national, state, and city sources. It is a work in progress—new
revisions will follow this original draft which has been completed
since July 1, 2003 and updated many times including the last date
of October 2004. It has not been disseminated or posted on our SBETAC
at LIU website pending the receipt of NYCDOE/SED most recent data,
school year 2003-2004, on Bilingual Special Education, Immigrant,
and High School student data extending to “drop-out”
and “on to college” information, etc. It is a “work
in progress.” This document is being disseminated on the SBETAC-LIU
website as a 1st edition; thereafter the SBETAC at LIU staff will
continue to revise data as 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th editions, etc., reflecting
new incoming data.
