Carole Kazlow is a professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning where
she teaches Sociological Foundations of Education, Issues in Urban Education
and other courses. Her areas of expertise include organizational change, evaluation
research, social stratification and education and research methods. She holds
a doctorate in the sociology of education from New York University. The
goal of educational sociology is to help educators and others to better understand
the social aspects of educational problems. .
