The Roothbert Fund was created in 1958 by Albert and Toni Roothbert to help men and women in need of financial aid to further their education. Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation, Inc. awards merit scholarships to students who have completed a minimum of one year in a degree granting institution and who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement as evidenced by a 3.0 GPA or higher. You must be of Hispanic heritage, be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident, be pursuing your first undergraduate or graduate degree and enrolled full-time.
