Good Academic Standing For Financial Aid Purposes


Federal Programs:

Students, who receive financial aid assistance from the state and/or federal governments, are required to meet and maintain standards of satisfactory academic progress. Standards to be met appear in the following charts, which have been developed using the guidelines set forth by the governing agencies involved.

Generally, to meet good academic standards, students must successfully complete a minimum number of credits each term, achieve a satisfactory cumulative grade point average, and make progress towards their degree objective. Each of the following charts contains specific information on the academic requirements involved, probationary status, and an appeals process.

Part-time students are also required to maintain good academic standing, and should simply prorate the requirements that appear on the full-time charts outlined below:
