Where to Find Scholarship Money for Global College?
This list has been created to help you, the student, find money to help pay for your college education. The sources listed below have links to the appropriate section of each organization’s website. If you have difficulty using the links, please cut and paste them into your web browser and go to the organization’s homepage (ex. If the link to www.uberscholarship.com/scholar_23.html doesn’t work, try www.uberscholarship.com instead), from which you can usually run a search for “scholarship”. There is a lot of money that goes unclaimed every year, and with the amount of community involvement and commitment most Global College students have, you should have no problem finding the right scholarship source. Look for scholarships that are unique to you. Poet, artist, linguist, activist, writer, woman, minority, etc. — something that makes you stand out and be recognized for a scholarship. Try looking in your own community as well; often there are groups that want to give to people from your state alone.
Educational Resource Organizations Directory
Please follow the link below to be directed to the Educational Resource Organizations Directory list of state higher education agencies. Here, you will find contact information and links to the websites run by the higher education agency (-ies) in each state. These agencies, according to the EROD “provide information on the state's education programs, colleges and universities, financial aid assistance programs, grants, scholarships, continuing education programs, and career opportunities.” Please be sure to explore the offerings in your state.

- Don’t be afraid to ask for help! Show your application to a current teacher or advisor and get valuable feedback before submitting your application.
- Proofread your essay! Spell-check your essay! Spend time on your essay- make it something to be proud of!
- Please let Global College know when you receive a scholarship! This will lead to some well-deserved recognition for you, as well as an inspiration to your fellow students. Please allow us to celebrate and acknowledge your accomplishments!
*** Don’t fall for scams! ***
Beware of scholarships that cost money, promise money back guarantees, or request your credit card or money!
Scholarship Options
The following scholarships are organized by the current year of the student applying (i.e. if you are a high school senior right now, you would apply for the scholarships under the heading “high school senior”). Each entry is accompanied by a brief description that should help you to ascertain your eligibility for the scholarship. The last section, titled “All Students”, includes scholarships that all, or almost all, prospective and current students are eligible for. This list is arranged chronologically by application deadline; though please do make sure that you apply well in advance of the deadline. This list includes both scholarships for which Global College students have regularly applied and received in the past, as well as many new additions. The content on this page will be updated periodically, so please return here to check for new additions.
