Registration for Continuing Students

Each continuing student must register every semester. All centers and programs; semester and year-long.

Fall registration begins each year in early April.
Spring registration begins each year in early November.

Fill out the form below completely. You will receive confirmation of your registration, or notification of any blocks, bars, or holds that will prevent registration via email. More about blocks and holds

Unless otherwise noted, students will be registered for 16.00 credits, as students must maintain 16.00 credits per semester to graduate in a timely fashion (128.00 total needed). After a student arrives overseas, a learning plan detailing individual course work will be created with the student’s advisor.

For permission to take 18.00 credits, students must contact the Dean’s Office at the time of registration (prior to the start of the semester). Contact Joann Halpern at joann.halpern@liu.edu for more information.

Students must use the mailing address where they intend to receive mail over the summer or inbetween semester breaks. Visa forms and other important information will be sent to that mailing address. If it differs from a student’s permanent address, it must be indicated in the form below.
