The School of Education is committed to high quality education of urban school and mental health professionals.  Its faculty strives to develop the KEEPS qualities in our students through curricula that focus on the following: Knowledge, Enquiry, Empathy, Pluralism and Social Commitment.  Our recently revised teacher education curricula are grounded in hands-on teaching experience in schools and classrooms.  We are the leading source of new teachers for the New York City school system.
