Faculty Position, Assistant Professor

The Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University, School of Health Professions invites applications for a full-time, 12 month, non-tenure track faculty position in Occupational Therapy. Responsibilities include graduate teaching, primarily in the area of Physical Disabilities, with an emphasis in Neurorehabilitation and/or gerontology preferred. The Brooklyn Campus is located in downtown Brooklyn and is readily accessible to public transportation. Free on-campus parking is also available.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree with intent or work in progress toward a doctoral, terminal degree. An earned doctorate is preferred (e.g. PhD, OTD, SciD). Current certification as an OTR, current license or eligibility for licensure in NY State, and relevant clinical and educational experience. Academic rank and salary commensurate with credentials and experience. Starting date is negotiable.
