Thank you for visiting the Home Page of the School of Health Professions of Long Island University. The School of health Professions together with the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and health Sciences, and the School of Nursing, combine to make the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University one of the largest providers of health professions education in this region of the country.
The School of Health Professions is dedicated to providing superior quality health professions education and research that leads to outstanding career opportunities for a diverse student body.  The School also is dedicated to providing its professional expertise to the citizens of Brooklyn in order to serve their needs in health care and health education.   This dual mission is supported by outstanding faculty members who hold student success as their top priority.  The programs have state-of-the-art teaching facilities and hundreds of affiliations with health care facilities that provide students with outstanding experience in their chosen professions.  Active research programs provide students with opportunities for independent study and research.
