Wing Fu is an Assistant Professor and the Coordinator of Admissions and Program Assessment at the Division of Physical Therapy in the School of health Professions. Primary teaching responsibilities are in the areas of therapeutic exercises, physical modalities, and psychomotor skills. Prior to accepting this full-time appointment at Long Island University, Wing had served as the Clinical Education Supervisor and an adjunct faculty at the Division of Physical Therapy. Wing received her Professional Diploma in Physical Therapy from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and became a Physical Therapist in 1989. She earned her Advanced Master's degree in developmental disabilities from New York University in 2000. She is currently pursuing her doctorate degree, a Ph.D. in physical therapy at Nova Southeastern University. Wing has extensive clinical experience in diverse areas by providing physical therapy services to both adult and pediatric populations in acute care, outpatient, rehabilitation, school and home care settings. Her clinical expertise is in the areas of Pediatrics and Orthopedics. She became a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy in 2004 and a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2005.
