Most services can be offered here or students can be referred elsewhere to free medical clinics and or low cost medical facilities. We cater to an individual personal needs and all information is kept in the strictest of confidence. Students needn’t hesitate to visit or call with health related questions.
Emergency medical care for illness or injury occurring on campus
is provided for all students from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Mondays
through Fridays at the Office of health Services which is located
in the University Towers, 175 Willoughby Street, ground floor, (entrance

Emergency care is also available at the Brooklyn Hospital emergency
room when health Services is closed. The hospital is one block north
of the Campus, on the corner of DeKalb Avenue and Ashland Place. For any emergencies occurring on campus call the office of security at 718 488-1078.
University health and Medical Services has a wealth of information
for students such as instructional and informative video presentations
and pamphlets on the health related issues. In addition to offering
excellent medical care, we can perform physical examinations as
well as laboratory tests with a physician who is available for both
emergencies and appointments.
We also provide psychological referrals. We welcome the opportunity
to assist students with any sexual concerns, drug dependency, the
