About the Library

Access Privileges

The following members of the LIU community with photo ID may use the Brooklyn Campus Library:

• Students who are in good standing and have no restrictions on their records from any department in the University including the library.
• Faculty, full and part-time.
• Alumni of Long Island University who are in good standing as defined above.
• Students and faculty from colleges in the Academic Libraries of Brooklyn consortium may also use the library. These patrons will be asked to present a current I.D. from his/her institution to access materials.
• Metro Card users who have been referred to the Brooklyn Campus Library. Metro Card users should check in at the Reference Desk.
