About the Library Instruction Team

Library Instruction is a subset of the Reference Department. The majority of our library instruction sessions are taught by Librarians who have extensive experience providing Reference & Instruction Services within an urban and academic environment. All Librarians have a Masters degree in Library & Information Sciences. All librarians who work at LIU are also subject specialists in areas which reflect and support the specific degree programs of the University. If you are in need of a subject specialist librarian, please consult our list of Library Subject Liaisons.

Because we strive to provide our students and faculty with high quality instruction services, we welcome feedback. Please feel free to call Brook Stowe, Coordinator of Library Instruction, at 718-488-4067.
