Student Tutorials

The library provides tutorials to faculty and students upon request.

Tutorials can be arranged for individuals or small groups.

The quickest way to obtain help on a research project is to ask to speak with a Librarian at the 3rd floor Reference Desk.

If you require extensive or in-depth assistance with your research assignment, you may prefer to request a consultation or tutorial with a Reference or Instruction Librarian. Please email the librarian you would like to meet with at least 2 business days in advance. For a list of Reference and Instruction Librarians, click here.

When you email, please provide:
  • your name
  • your phone number
  • your research topic
  • the specific course name and number
  • the due date
  • 3 times/dates that you can meet with the librarian
For immediate assistance, please:
  • visit the 3rd floor Reference Desk of the library
  • call the Reference Desk at 718-780-4513
  • check out our Online Tutorials
