What Can the Library Instruction Do for You? *

• Provide physical & virtual tours of the Library
• Provide database centered instruction sessions
• Provide instruction sessions focused on print, web, or other resources
• Provide course specific library resource guides
• Provide discipline specific web pages
• Develop electronic educational tools
• Provide one-on-one tutorials
• Provide small group consultations
• Provide brief in-class visits
• Provide WebCT based interaction to support student research needs
• Work with faculty to develop effective assignments
• Work with faculty to develop effective pre/post assessment tools
• Work with department Chairs to integrate information literacy standards into program learning objectives
