The
library provides access to thousands of journals through its
subscription databases. To find an article on a specific topic,
search in one of the databases. Click here
for a list of literature-related databases. To find an article
in a specific journal, click on the Full-Text
Journals by Titles link from the library's home page and
type in the name of the journal. You can either select LIU Libraries
Periodical Collection to find a paper copy of the journal or
select the appropriate database for an eletronic copy. The following
is a select list of journals that the library owns either in

and Poetry - This Academy of American Poets site provides
access to thousands of classic and contemporary poems as well
as biographies, essays and interviews.
Shakespeare
Plays - This web site provides full access to Shakespeare
plays and selected poetry.
SparkNotes
- A series of study guides that cover a variety of subjects.
The literature guide provides information on characters, plots
and themes.
Victorian
Women Writers Project - A collection of works by 19th-century
British women writers.
