| The
West Indian Day Parade takes place in Brooklyn every Labor Day
along Brooklyns Eastern Parkway. |
Our Campus reflects the
energy and diversity of a booming downtown Brooklyn. Stand on any
street corner and watch people from a multitude of cultures go by.
Those who live, work and go to school in the area feel at home no
matter what their nationality. The aromas of Afro-Caribbean, Asian,
Mediterranean, Latino, Eastern European and Middle Eastern cooking
radiate from restaurants and food stands surrounding the Campus.
 |
| The
Brooklyn Campus is surrounded by a broad range of cultural institutions
including the Brooklyn Museum (right) and the Brooklyn Academy
of Music. |
We are located near some
of Brooklyns richest cultural and historical attractions.
Within walking distance are the Brooklyn Academy of Music, known
for its innovative drama, music and dance productions, and the Brooklyn
Heights Promenade, featuring world-famous panoramic views of the
Manhattan skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty.
The Campus is surrounded
by historic neighborhoods and districts including Brooklyn Heights
to the West, Fulton Ferry to the North, Boerum Hill to the South
and Fort Greene and Clinton Hill to the East. On a lunch break or
weekend, you can easily explore their interesting architecture and
wonderful shops.

| The
Brooklyn Promenade offers spectacular views of lower Manhattan. |
Just a short subway ride
away is Manhattan. Its awesome communications, medical, merchandising,
cultural and financial centers enrich the academic, recreational
