Message from the Alumni Association President George Pagano
Welcome to the official website of the Communication Sciences and Disorders Alumni Association. We are off to a great start in developing a strong, dynamic, and active association. Our first event was a very successful dinner and fundraiser held on campus. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with each other and talk about future events.Every student that graduates from the Communication Sciences and Disorders Graduate Program is automatically enrolled in the Alumni Association.
There are no fees to join and be part of the Alumni Association.
There are many benefits of belonging to the Alumni Association. It is an organization in which classmates and faculty can stay connected to each other. It is also a good opportunity to network and meet fellow alumni who have graduated from the same program as you did.
There will also be lectures and CEU so that alumni can stay current with issues related to the profession and also obtain CEU's for ASHA and NYS licensure. Most importantly, there will be fundraising events and activities so that we can give back to the community.
The time commitment will vary with each alumnus. Some alumni may wish to be on committees and devote some time to planning and organizing events. Others may not have much time to devote, but would like to attend events and activities.
