  • How do I apply to the undergraduate program?
    You can apply in-person at the Office of Admissions or you can apply online at:  http://www.brooklyn.liu.edu/bbut02/apply/grad/how2app.html   
  • How many credits are required to complete the Bachelor’s of Science Degree?
    Candidates for the degree must complete a minimum of 128 credits.
  • What financial aid opportunities are available at the University?
    Please refer to the undergraduate bulletin which can be found at the admissions office.
  • What is the cost of tuition for the undergraduate program in CSD?
    As of Fall 2007, tuition is $771 per credit for courses in the program.
  • How long will it take to complete the program?
    The program can be completed in 4 years of intensive study.
  • Can I complete this program on a part-time basis?
    Yes. A Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology can be completed on a part-time basis.
  • Are weekend or evening classes offered?
    Weekend and Friday evening classes are not offered in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Classes are offered during mornings, afternoons, and evenings, Monday through Thursday.
  • What are the Bachelor’s Degree graduation requirements?
    All students are eligible for graduation upon satisfactory completion of their coursework and a minimum of 25 hours of clinical observation during SLP 410 & 411 and a Computer Literacy Examination given by the testing the center.
  • Can I transfer undergraduate credits from another university?
    Students are allowed to transfer credits from another university upon approval of the admissions office at LIU. Transfer credit will be considered for courses taken at other universities prior to admission to LIU and within the last five years.
