SNA Goals for the 2004-2005 Academic Year

1. Refine and adhere to organization’s constitutional bylaws.
2. Maintain the highest standard of personal and professional conduct.
3. Strive for excellence in all aspects of decision making and management at all levels of the student nurses’ association.
4. Effectively communicate with internal and external student and faculty audiences.
5. Promote a sense of social responsibility among the School of Nursing students by encouraging participation.
6. Create and maintain a sense of school spirit and pride among School of Nursing students.
7. Promote timely health, safety and well-being issues to the Long Island University community through educational outreach events.
8. Use every opportunity to raise awareness of the Student Nurses’ Association’s mission, purpose and goals at the school chapter level.
9. Actively promote and encourage the highest level of ethics within nursing education, the profession of nursing and the student nurses’ association.
10. Participate in the annual NSNA Convention.
