    • Our Mission:

    • The mission of the Harriet Rothkopf Heilbrunn B’32 Academic Nursing Center, in keeping with the standards of the profession, the University’s mission of excellence and access and the goals of healthy People 2010, is to reduce health disparities among high-risk populations by providing accessible and affordable, primary, secondary and tertiary prevention activities focusing on risk assessment, education, counseling and referral for vulnerable, underserved populations in the downtown Brooklyn area. The HRHANC seeks to integrate student clinical experience and faculty practice in the effective provision of education, health care and research,  which is determined by the needs of the community.
