Division
of Pharmacy Practice
The objectives of this Division include the development
of skills for the practice of patient-oriented pharmacy
and the selection of the appropriate therapeutic regimen
for a specific disease in an individual patient. The Division
has the responsibility to train students to counsel patients
and other healthcare professionals in the rational use
of prescription and nonprescription drugs, and to safeguard
against drug interactions, drug misuse and drug abuse. Prof.
