Welcome 'Return to Learning' Students
Long Island University Brooklyn Campus’s Return to Learning Program provides guidance for non-traditional students during every step of the college application process. As a prospective student, you may have questions about how to apply, what major to pick, how to find your way around campus, and even how to become involved as a new member of the Brooklyn Campus community. Below are some details of the programs and services Long Island University has to offer you as a non-traditional student. Return to Learning professionals will work with you from the admission process through graduation to ensure your success at Long Island University Brooklyn Campus.
- We are an urban campus in downtown Brooklyn, just a few minutes from Manhattan and conveniently located close to 11 subway lines and the LIRR.

We know you are busy and juggling many priorities, and that you want to fit returning to higher education into your busy life. We offer you a variety of ways to do this. Why don’t you take a class or two to ‘try out’ a new field or build on your current knowledge base? You can take up to 6 classes in a degree program before applying and committing to a major.
