LIU-BC SBPAIS MPA Program Advanced Certificate in Nonprofit Management is a 15 credit certificate designed to provide professionals with varying backgrounds who are managers in nonprofit organizations essential elements of nonprofit organization theory and management. The certificate consists of an overview of the nonprofit sector, the organizations that carry out these important missions and management challenges of these organizations. Certificate courses also address key management functions of human resources, finance and decision making contexts. The courses as listed below are all graduate level courses and represent a stand-alone certificate.

Students already in the MPA Program, who are specializing in Nonprofit Management (NPM) may earn an Advanced Certificate in Nonprofit Management in addition to the MPA degree by taking PM 728, 741 or 742 and any two other NPM 700-level courses.
