B.S. IN MANAGEMENT
Managers
play a critical role in shaping America's future. Businesses need managers
who are effective, creative, disciplined and well educated. The Management
degree gives students the necessary career skills to obtain diverse and
innovative managerial and professional positions in all areas of business.
Career opportunities include management positions in manufacturing companies,
business and management consulting, financial planning and banking, sales
management, marketing and personnel administration.
The
B.S. Management degree is designed to give students a broad perspective
of organizational management and the judgment and professional competetence
necessary for a career in any business field. The
program develops students’ leadership, teamwork and communication skills
while preparing them for successful careers.
Students receive in-depth
training in managerial planning, human resources management, decision-making,
strategy development, operations management, organizational behavior
and service management. The undergraduate major combines a solid foundation
in business topics with a liberal arts education. Leaders in all economic
sectors urge business students to broaden their understanding of the
world by exploring non-business subjects.
The Business Organization
for Successful Students (BOSS) is a club for Management students which
offers lectures and workshops to introduce students to accomplished business
leaders.
Recent graduates are working
in management careers at the Bank of New York, Morgan Stanley, Credit
Suisse, and other prominent companies.
