Welcome to LIU - MBA PROGRAM
“In a workplace bombarded with bachelor’s degrees, having an M.B.A. from LIU automatically makes you stand out. It demonstrated that I took the time to build and prepare for my future, a step beyond the standard bachelor’s degree. My degree has opened doors for me especially when people learn that I have an understanding of business and technology.” - Veronica Lee, Class of 2001
General Business Core

The General Business Core classes are designed for those students who lack specific business course work at the undergraduate level.  Students who have received grades of at lease B (3.0) in two undergraduate courses with the same content will have the general business core classes waived.

The General Business Core not only provides a basis for advanced study, but also offers an opportunity to explore the various fields of business before choosing a concentration.
