The School of Business, Public Administration and Information Sciences at
the Brooklyn Campus of
Long Island University offers small classes with personalized attention, a
diverse student body, respected faculty, and opportunities for career advancement

lecture series. Our proximity to Wall Street and the business area of Downtown

The Bachelor of Science Degree requires completing a program of study containing
a minimum of 128 credits of work. Some undergraduate degrees can be obtained
in the School's evening division. Undergraduate Degrees are offered in the
following areas:
The liberal arts element
of the baccalaureate requirements, offered through Conolly College,
comprises fully half of the total program and is intended to provide
the broad foundation necessary for a truly professional education.
Professional studies, after completion of the introductory professional
core courses, are taken principally in the third and fourth years
in the School and prepare the students for careers in Public and
Managerial Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, Computer
Science and Information Systems.
For those students
who are unsure of their educational goals, the 60 credit Associate
Degree program Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business Administration
affords an opportunity to pursue a 2 year program of study for which
a degree is awarded and which may be later extended into the baccalaureate
degree.
Minors
are also available in General Business (for non-Business majors
only), Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems,
Management, Marketing and Technology.
