New York and worked with the house band at The Blue Note, followed
by prestigious gigs with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers and Dexter
Gordon. He was a member of the Roy Hargrove Quintet for seven
years and, recently, made the transition to the Elvin Jones Jazz
Machine.
He has also recorded or performed with Wynton Marsalis, Kenny
Barron, Russell Malone, Nicholas Payton, Louis Hayes and Rufus
Reid.
