Kids Café Festival 2008 Brings Asian Music and Dance to the Kumble Theater for
the Performing Arts on February 9 and 10


- More than 250 young people from NYC scheduled to perform with special guests -

Brooklyn, N.Y. – Kids Café Festival 2008 will bring its Asian Arts Celebration to the Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus on February 9 and 10.

As part of the event, presented by Dancewave, Inc., more than 250 children and teens from the New York metropolitan area are scheduled to perform Asian music and dance selections. Special guests performances will be delivered by the New York Chinese Cultural Center Dance Troupe and the internationally acclaimed Japanese drumming group, Taikoza.

Performances of the Kids Café Festival 2008 Asian Arts Celebration will take place on Saturday, February 9, at 3 p.m. and Sunday, February 11, at 3 p.m. at the Kumble Theater on Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus, located at the corner of DeKalb and Flatbush avenues. Tickets are $20 for adults, and $12 for kids.

Now in its fourteenth year, the Kids Café Festival 2008 promotes performing arts activities and education for young people in New York City, prioritizing the youth and families of Brooklyn.
