Spring Graduate Open House to Be Held at
Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus on March 26

Spring into academic success at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus by taking advantage of the its Spring Graduate Open House on Wednesday, March 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Campus’ Luntey Commons.

More than 90 doctoral, master’s and certificate programs are offered at the Brooklyn Campus in such majors as business, education, journalism, media arts, nursing, pharmacy and health professions.

Representatives from academic majors, admissions, student financial services and career services will be on hand to answer your questions about programs including the M.F.A. in Creative Writing, the United Nations Graduate Certificate Program, the M.B.A. and the M.P.A. in business and our extensive programs in urban education. Cutting-edge professional opportunities like the M.F.A. in New Media Art and Performance or the M.A. in Media Arts program allow students to combine artistic skills with technology, using top-level resources in an environment that supports inspiration and collaboration.

On the doctoral level, the Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, the Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, the D.P.T. in Physical Therapy and the Pharm.D. in Pharmacy are available.

Students pursuing undergraduate degrees are welcome to attend the Open House. At the undergraduate level, there is a wide array of possibilities, with more than 80 bachelor’s degree programs available in business, education, liberal arts and sciences, nursing and the health professions. There is also the exciting Global College, offering a bachelor of arts degree with programs at its centers in China, Costa Rica, Japan, India and South Africa.

A vibrant 11-acre urban oasis in downtown Brooklyn with 7,400 students, the campus has flourishing trees and flowers, lively fountains and tables with colorful umbrellas. Outstanding amenities include The Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts; the Wellness, Recreation and Athletic Center, with its 3,000-seat venue for athletic events; and the newly opened Louise B’69 and Leonard Riggio Cyber Café. Located at the hub of subway transportation and a few blocks from the Long Island Rail Road, the Campus is situated at DeKalb and Flatbush Avenue.
