Who’s Who Honorees Are Named at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus
Brooklyn, N.Y. - Seventy-one students from Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus and Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences were named to the national Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges in March.
The students and their families will attend a ceremony at the Campus’s Luntey Commons on April 10 to celebrate their award, which is based on their leadership abilities, community service and academic excellence. The Brooklyn Campus is located in downtown Brooklyn, at the intersection of DeKalb and Flatbush avenues.
A committee of deans, directors, faculty and other administrators select students for inclusion. The minimum cumulative average for consideration is 3.00. Selection is limited to junior, senior and graduate-level students.
"These students represent the best of American youth through their contributions," declared Brooklyn Campus Provost Gale Stevens Haynes, adding, "They demonstrate consistent excellence. We are very proud of them."
