Postponed: Award Ceremony for Nancy Wilson

- African Voices-sponsored event will be rescheduled due to singer’s illness -

Brooklyn, N.Y. – The award ceremony for jazz legend Nancy Wilson is postponed due to illness. The sponsor, African Voices, is postponing the April 17th Ellie Charles Artists Award tribute, at Long Island University’s Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts in Brooklyn, to give Ms. Wilson a chance to recuperate.

African Voices is requesting audience patience and support as it begins the process of rescheduling the celebration for a new date. All tickets purchased in advance will be honored. If ticket holders have any questions, they can call (212) 865-2982.
